Series is calculated as the sum of the month-end outstandings from the Financial, Foreign column and those from the Asset-backed column multiplied by the ratio of the Foreign Financial to the Total Financial. Series is compiled by FR Board from data obtained from DTCC. Unadjusted flow is the change in the level; data for the most recent ten years show no significant seasonality.
