The Federal Reserve Board on Wednesday announced its approval of the applications by The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. and PNC Bancorp, Inc., both in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to acquire United National Bancorp, and thereby indirectly acquire its wholly owned subsidiary bank, UnitedTrust Bank, both in Bridgewater, New Jersey.
