| The Federal Reserve Board on Wednesday announced its approval of the proposal by Regions Financial Corporation, Birmingham, Alabama, to merge with Union Planters Corporation, and thereby indirectly acquire Union Planters Bank, National Association, both in Memphis, and Union Planters Bank of the Lakeway Area, Morristown, all in Tennessee. Attached is the Board's Order relating to this action. |
