    Thrift Plan

The Thrift Plan for Employees of the Federal Reserve System (the Thrift Plan or the Plan) offers you a convenient way to save and invest for your retirement or other major expenses. You can also reduce your current federal income taxes when you choose the pretax savings feature of the Plan. To help you build your savings more quickly, your employer makes matching contributions to your account on your behalf. Download a copy of The Smart Benefits Brochure to see changes to the plan effective 2002.

Details about the Thrift Plan are available on the Smart Benefits website.
