Academic
Assistance
The Board established the Academic Assistance
Program to encourage and help employees develop themselves, increase
their productivity, and enhance their career potential. As long
as funds are available, the Board will provide financial assistance
to employees pursuing:
- Board-related degree programs; and
- Individual job-related courses.

Who Is Eligible
To be eligible, you must:
- Be a regular or temporary employee working at least 20 hours per week.
- Be in good standing and not undergoing disciplinary action pursuant to the Board's Disciplinary Actions or Adverse Action policies; or
- Have received an overall rating of Commendable or better on
his or her most recent Performance Management Program (PMP) review.
Course Limits
Full time regular and temporary employees may receive assistance
for up to $9,000 calendar year (includes tuition, textbooks, and eligible fees).
Reimbursement Amount
The Program will pay:
- Up to $9,000 per calendar year, of which
anything over $5,250 is taxable;
- For computer, lab, registration fees,
and textbooks.
If you leave the Board before completing a course,
or within one year after completing a course, you must reimburse
the Board for all course expenses and/or examination fees, unless
you're transferring to a Federal Reserve Bank.
Grade Requirements
To be eligible for reimbursement, employees must
satisfactorily complete all coursework, as shown below.

The Board's Administrative Procedures Manual
contains the complete Academic Assistance policy. If the information
in this website conflicts with the information in the Administrative
Procedures Manual, the Administrative Procedures Manual will govern.
