Performance Management Program

While the job description describes job responsibilities, the Performance Management Program (PMP) evaluation describes an individual's job performance in relation to that individual's defined job responsibilities and objectives.

   The PMP is designed to:  

  • Clarify job responsibilities and expectations;
  • Evaluate employee performance in relation to established objectives;
  • Assign an overall performance rating as a basis for a merit pay decision; and
  • Provide career and development counseling to meet employees' needs and explore their potential for growth.
