Career Advancement at the Board
Job Reclassification
Another way to advance at the Board is reclassification
of a current job. The Board may reclassify a job when its duties
and responsibilities have changed significantly and are appropriately
classified at another grade or level. Employees in a job that has
been increased in grade level in recognition of increased responsibility
may be recommended for salary increases by their divisions. Grade,
salary, and title increases are implemented as soon as possible
following a job reclassification.
