Your first day at the Federal Reserve Board consists
of a highly interactive and thorough program called "On the
Money: Getting a Great Start at the Federal Reserve Board."
You'll learn about the purpose and structure of the Board... the
value of your benefits... the human resources programs available
to you... building security and computer security... and how to
get around the buildings.
- Plan to arrive by 8:00 AM on your first
- Bring a photo ID.
- Come to the Board's offices at 1850 K Street. We recommend
you take DC Metro to the Farragut West station. You should report to the third-floor guard station, and a Human Resources staff member will escort you to the training room. You will not be able to park in the garage on your first day, and there is no all-day street parking available nearby. See directions for Getting to the Board.
- Training officially lasts from
8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. A Benefits Counselor will be on
hand from 3:00 to 4:00 PM to answer questions about
forms and benefits.
- Complete your employee information forms and bring them with you on your first day of employment. (They will be used
to set up payroll and benefits information.)
