Survey of Consumer Finances  SCF index

Respondents for this survey were interviewed between June and December 1998 in areas across the United States. This effort updates the picture obtained from the last survey, the 1995 SCF. An article forthcoming in the January 2000 issue of the Federal Reserve Bulletin will summarize the results of this survey. The underlying data are expected to be released to the public after the end of January 2000.
