Year-end level from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Economic Research Service, Farm Economy, U.S. Farm Income Data, Farm business balance sheet, total farm debt, real estate. Data are annual; series is converted to quarterly by linear interpolation with estimates for current quarters obtained by extrapolation. Transactions are calculated as the change in level. Data for the most recent ten years show no significant seasonality.
