Annual transactions and year-end level do not correspond to those shown in SCB September issues, Table 15: U.S. Direct Investment Abroad: Selected Items by Detailed Industry of Foreign Affiliate because Financial Accounts data is classified by industry of U.S. parent, not foreign affiliate. Data for the most recent ten years show no significant seasonality.
