Data Description:
Includes all advances to the U.S. parent bank (all U.S. offices and branches of the "bank" of which the reporting branch or subsidiary is a part, the parent bank's IBF, Edge and agreement subsidiaries and other subsidiaries in the fifty states and the District of Columbia that are consolidated with the parent bank for purposes of reporting on the quarterly condition report, and branches at U.S. military facilities wherever located), balances due from the parent bank, and acceptances created for the parent bank as well as all loans, securities, or other assets purchased from the U.S. parent bank under a specific repurchase agreement. Excludes all assets acquired from the parent bank without repurchase agreements. Unremitted losses are balances due from the parent bank and is reported as assets (for net losses). Excludes unrealized gains or losses. NOTE: Reported on the FR 2502q (QFBS) report. COMPARABILITY: Prior to 3/31/94, includes the total sum of "Claims on Parent Bank Payable in U.S. Dollars (1304)" and "Claims on Parent Bank Payable in Other Currencies (1305)" reported on the FR 2502 (MFBR) report.
