Data Description:
Includes direct loans made and paper purchased during the month from credit arising from retail sales of consumer goods other than passenger cars and mobile homes. Includes general merchandise, apparel, furniture, household appliances etc., "campers" and trailers not usable as homes as well as motorcycles, airplanes, helicopters and boats purchased for personal use. Also includes revolving credit retail paper and automobile repair paper, and credit to finance alterations or improvements in existing residential properties occupied by the borrower.
Excludes wholesale financing, lease paper and loans secured by real estate.
