Data Description:

Includes the amount outstanding at the end of the month promissory notes of large denominations sold directly or through dealers to the investor, and issued for not longer than 270 days. Also includes short-term or demand "master" notes and notes backed by various types of letters of credit or other guarantees. Excludes nonnegotiable promissory notes held by officers of the firm, their families and other individuals.
