Data Description:
Includes the total number of deposit accounts (demand, savings, and time) with balances on the report date of more than $100,000. Each certificate, passbook, account, and other evidence of deposit which has a balance of more than $100,000 is counted.
COMPARABILITY:
Prior to 3/31/91, for the "RCON" series, reported on the June report only.
NOTE:
For the FFIEC 002 report, completed only by branches whose deposits are insured by the FDIC.
For the FFIEC 031/041, this item no longer reported after 03/31/2006. See RCON F052.
For the "SUMD" series, includes the number of "Total Deposits (Including Outstanding Bank Drafts and Trust Funds) (2700)" accounts of Class 5 carried on the books of the reporting banking office. See the Class Definition Table in Volume 1 of the Glossary section, with SUMD tape format. Also item name is "Total Deposits - Number of Accounts of Class 5 - More Than $100,000."
