Data Description:
Includes the amount of the low reserve tranche for each office, or for each group of offices filing a single aggregated Report of Transaction Accounts, Other Deposits and Vault Cash FR 2900 (EDDS or QEDS). This amount is adjusted annually based on the change in total transaction accounts at all depository institutions. For 1991, the total allocation equals $41.1 million. NOTE: For the weekly reporters on the "EDDS" series, the as-of date for the 14-day computation period begins 12/26/89 and the corresponding 14-day reserve maintenance periods begins 12/28/89, for net transaction accounts. For the quarterly reporters on the "QEDS" series, the as-of date for the 7-day reserve computation period begins 12/19/89 and the corresponding quarterly reserve maintenance cycle that starts with the 7-day reserve maintenance period begins 1/18/90. COMPARABILITY: Prior to 12/18/90, the amount of the low reserve tranche on net transaction accounts was $40.4 million.
