Data Description:

Report all deposits and escrows from states and political subdivisions in the U.S. included in item 2339. Deposits, secured or collateralized as required under state law, pursuant to Section 141 of FDICIA.

Do not include:

1. Deposits of the U.S. Government secured or collateralized as required under federal law.

2. Deposits of trust funds secured or collateralized as required under state law unless the beneficiary is a state or political subdivision in the U.S.

COMPARABILITY:

Prior to 3/31/04, report deposits any public unit which are secured or collateralized as required under State law, pursuant to the FDICIA Section 141.
