Data Description:

A one digit-code indicating the base rate used in determining the rate reporting in "Nominal Rate Of Interest (7922)".

0 = "None" - for loans with interest rates that is set independently of a base rate.
1 = "Prime rate" - applies when the loan rate is based on the institution's own prime as reported on the Prime Rate Supplement to the Survey Of Terms Of Bank Lending, FR 2028S, any other lender's prime rate, a combination of other prime rates, or a publicly reported prime rate.
2 = "Fed funds rate" - applies when the loan rate charged is priced relative to the federal funds rate.
3 = "Other domestic money market" - applies when the loan rate charged is priced relative to the rate on domestic certificates of deposit, commercial paper, bankers acceptances, or any other domestic money market rate (except federal funds rate or prime rate).
4 = "Foreign money market" - applies when the loan rate charged is priced relative to the London Interbank Offered Rate (LIBOR), or any other non-U.S. (foreign) money market rate.
5 = "Other" - applies when the loan rate charged is priced relative to any reference rate not detailed above or when the rate is independent of a base rate.
