Data Description:
Includes outstanding balances of other residential and nonresidential adjustable-rate mortgages, including adjustable-rate balloon payment loans. These loans are classify in a maturity/repricing column as follows:
Adjustable-Rate Loans With Effective Adjustment Features:
The rate adjustment for these loans is not completely restricted by a lifetime rate cap. A lifetime rate cap is defined as the maximum contractual interest rate that could be charged during the contractual maturity of the loan. These loans are included in the maturity/repricing column describing the time from the reporting date to the date of the next rate adjustment.
Adjustable-Rate Loans With Ineffective Adjustment Features:
The rate adjustment for these loans is completely restricted or "capped out". These loans are included in the maturity/repricing column describing the time from the reporting date to the contractual maturity date.
Adjustable-rate balloon loans are also reported in maturity/repricing column that describes the time from the reporting date to the next adjustment.
The outstanding principal balances of all loans covered by FSLIC yield maintenance agreements are reported in the maturity/repricing columns that correspond to the loan contract. The reported yields and repricing terms are not adjusted for the terms of the yield maintenance agreement.
