Data Description:

A 10-digit number identifier that is used in processing and storing data in the Banking Statistics System (STAT). Note: This field is currently manually updated and is not a required field. However, plans are in place to assign the ID RSSDs as STAT IDs. The existing STAT IDs will be frozen and programmatically loaded into the STAT field in the NIC for all STAT reporters for which this field has not been maintained. Thereafter, for new entities, the ID RSSD assigned by the system will also become the STAT ID. RSSD software will programmatically load this identifier into the STAT ID field. This change is tentatively scheduled for implementation with Release 4.1.
