Data Description:
Defines the Report of Condition and Income panels for purposes of publication. Small banks (assets less than $100 million on June Call) have the option to file a short or long form. Medium banks (assets greater than $100 million and less than $300 million on June Call) file the long form and are not required to submit a large bank supplement. Large banks (assets greater than $300 million on June Call) file the long form and a large bank supplement. Banks that have foreign activity, regardless of size, are required to file the Domestic and Foreign Report. Mutual savings banks file the Mutual Savings Bank Report.
The code values are as follows:
1 = Mutual Savings Bank
2 = Short Form Reporter
3 = Long Form Reporter
4 = Long Form Reporter with a LBS
5 = Domestic & Foreign Reporter
6 = Domestic & Foreign Reporter with LBS (assets less than $300m - national banks only)
7 = Domestic & Foreign Reporter with LBS (assets greater than $300m)
20 = IBA Call Reporter (RCON only)
30 = Edge Act and Agreement Corporations
40 = New York Investment Companies
