Data Description:
Includes the market value of non-interest bearing deposits in the reporting institution for personal trusts accounts over which the institution exercises investment discretion. Also includes non-interest bearing deposits subject to shared investment discretion, and over which the institution exercises investment discretion that are being serviced by an investment advisor.
Also includes non-interest bearing deposits of both principal and income cash; (normally these are demand deposits). Balances held in time deposit open accounts, for reserve purpose only, are also reported in this item.
Personal Trusts are accounts that includes all testamentary, inter-vivos, and other private trusts, including private foundations where appointed trustee. Where one or more assets of a discretionary trust are held pursuant to a mandatory retention clause or are subject to outside control, such assets may be excluded, but the remainder of the account assets are reported.
