Employee Benefit Agencies are accounts where the institution acts as an investment manager (and not as a trustee), as defined in Section 3(38) of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA).
NOTE:
Reported on the DB2 table on Schedule A for the FFIEC 001 report.
Includes the market value of non-interest bearing deposits in the reporting institution for employee benefit agencies accounts over which the institution exercises investment discretion. Also includes non-interest bearing deposits subject to shared investment discretion, and over which the institution exercises investment discretion that are being serviced by an investment advisor.
