Includes gross losses of settlements, surcharges and other losses of $10,000 or more by discretionary other agency accounts. Amounts are not reported net of any recoveries or insurance payments. Legal expenses are reported in item A483 or item A484. Excludes contingent liabilities related to outstanding litigation.
This item is reported where total settlements, surcharges and other losses for the reporting year in item A486 are $100,000 or more.
NOTE:
Reported on the DB2 table on Schedule E for the FFIEC 001 report.
Reported by financial institutions with more than $100 million in total trust assets as reported on Schedule A item A458. In addition, all non-deposit trust companies, whether or not they report any assets on Schedule A, must also report Schedule E.
