Data Description:
As of 12/31/2020, for purposes of the FR Y-12, report the net unrealized holding gains (losses) on equity securities not held for trading of the direct and indirect nonfinancial equity investments (including nonfinancial equity investments held under Merchant Banking Authority)of all small business investment companies (SBICs) that are consolidated with the holding company for accounting purposes and that are not owned or controlled by the holding company through a depository institution. Also include any nonfinancial equity investment made directly or indirectly by the holding company or a nondepository subsidiary in a SBIC that is not consolidated for accounting purposes.
