Data Description:

The loan population includes all non-domestic loans/lines directly held on the BHC's portfolio. Portfolio loans are all loans/lines as defined in the FR Y-9C, Schedule HC-C, item 1.c.(2)(b), and item 1.c.(1). Report the total dollar amount of new originations net of sales to Agencies. Report only originations for those loans and leases that the bank holding company has the intent and ability to hold for the foreseeable future or until maturity or payoff.
