Data Description:
Include both non-domestic credit cards for which the balance is repaid in full each billing cycle and regular general purpose non-domestic credit cards as defined in the in FR Y-9C, Schedule HC-C item 6.a or 9.b. Bank cards include products that can be used at a wide variety of merchants, including any who accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover credit cards. Include affinity and co-brand cards in this category, and student cards, if applicable. This product type also includes private label or proprietary credit cards, which are tied to the retailer issuing the card and can only be used in that retailer's stores. Include oil and gas cards in this loan type. Exclude bank cards to corporations and small businesses (report in Corporate Card or Business Card, as appropriate). Report according to FR Y-9C definitions (end of quarter levels). Report end of quarter levels for each Section. Where requested, please segment the total balances reported by age. For those lines, balances should be classified according to the origination date of the account with which the balance is associated.
