What changes were made to federalreserve.gov during the redesign?

The Federal Reserve Board's website (www.federalreserve.gov) has a new design and additional features aimed at improving usability and transparency. Enhancements and changes include:

  • a responsive design that enables easier viewing of the site on a variety of mobile devices
  • new navigation menus to help users access information more quickly and easily
  • News & Events section now includes a comprehensive public calendar and filters to search press releases, speeches, and testimony
  • About the Fed section has been restructured to include updated information from the Board's Purposes & Functions publication
  • information about the Twelve Federal Reserve districts can now be found in a consolidated format by district
  • Economic Research and Data are now available under two separate sections for quicker access
  • Reporting Forms can now be accessed from the homepage and within the Supervision and Regulation section
  • Publications link can be found in the top navigation on every page

The Board's website is its primary channel of communication and is complemented by Board accounts on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
