The fourth conference organized by the International Research Forum on Monetary Policy will be held at the Federal Reserve Board on December 1-2, 2006.

The Forum comprises the European Central Bank (ECB), the Federal Reserve Board (FRB), the Center for Financial Studies (CFS) at the Goethe University, and the BMW Center for German and European Studies (CGES) at Georgetown University. Its purpose is to encourage research on monetary policy issues that are relevant for monetary policy making in interdependent economies. It regularly organizes conferences that are held alternately in the euro area and the United States.
