The Federal Reserve Board today announced the scheduling of an additional day, July 10, and a time change for the public meeting in San Francisco on the proposal by NationsBank Corporation, Charlotte, North Carolina, to acquire BankAmerica Corporation, San Francisco, California.
The Board on June 19 announced a public meeting on the proposal for July 9. Today, the Presiding Officer extended the meeting to a second day, July 10, to accommodate timely requests to testify at the public meeting. In addition, the meetings on both days will begin at 8:00 a.m. PDT, instead of 9:00 a.m. PDT, at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, 101 Market Street, San Francisco, California.
Additional information about the public meeting was contained in the Notice of Public Meeting issued by the Board on June 19.
