The Federal Reserve Board today announced its approval of the application of BB&T Corporation, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, to acquire Premier Bancshares, Inc., Atlanta, Georgia, and its four wholly owned subsidiary depository institutions. Attached is the Board's Order relating to this action.
