The Federal Reserve Board today published proposed revisions to the official staff commentary that applies and interprets the requirements of Regulation Z, Truth in Lending. Comment is requested by January 22, 1999. The proposed revisions address the issuance of unsolicited multifunction credit cards, credit sales involving trade-ins, and payment schedules that include private mortgage insurance. The Board's notice is attached.
