Approval of proposal by The PNC Financial Services Group
For immediate release
The Federal Reserve Board on Thursday announced its approval of the proposal by The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc., Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to merge with Mercantile Bankshares Corporation, Baltimore, Maryland, and thereby acquire its subsidiary banks.
