The Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief, and Consumer Protection Act was signed into law on May 24, 2018. This report is submitted pursuant to section 211(c)(1) of the Act, which directs the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (Federal Reserve) and the Secretary of the U.S. Department of the Treasury (Treasury), or their designee, to submit an annual report to Congress on the efforts of Treasury and the Federal Reserve, in coordination with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC).
