About

The second biannual Global Research Forum on International Macroeconomics and Finance, organized by the European Central Bank, Federal Reserve Board, and Federal Reserve Bank of New York, will be held at the Federal Reserve Board in Washington D.C. from 13 to 14 November 2014. The purpose of the Forum is to promote the discussion of frontier research on empirical and theoretical issues in international finance, banking and macroeconomics, with a special eye on the relevance for monetary policy. In the wake of financial crises in Europe, the United States and elsewhere, policymakers around the world face many challenges. These include maintaining financial stability while withdrawing monetary accommodation and assessing international spillovers from the associated policies.

Please note that attendance at the conference is by invitation only. Conference attendees and media representatives must register in advance.
