The Federal Reserve Board on Thursday announced its approval of the application under section 3 of the Bank Holding Company Act by Anchor Bancshares, Inc., Houston, Texas, to acquire First Bancshares of Texas, Inc., McGregor, Texas, and thereby indirectly acquire Security Bank of Crawford, Crawford, Texas.
