Every Thursday, the Federal Reserve releases a summary of the actions taken on applications from the prior week. The summary, known as the H.2 release, has information on all actions taken by the Board and by the Reserve Banks under delegated authority.

Each Friday, the Federal Reserve releases a list of all applications and notices that have been filed or will be filed shortly with the Federal Reserve System under the Bank Holding Company Act, the Change in Bank Control Act, the Home Owners’ Loan Act, or under Regulations Y, LL, MM for which a notice has been sent to the Federal Register.

Orders issued under the Bank Holding Company Act, the Bank Merger Act, and the International Banking Act are posted upon issuance.

As they become available, electronic versions of documents relating to actions listed in the Board’s H.2 release--whether taken at the Board or by Reserve Banks--can be obtained on the Board’s website.

Under the Bank Holding Company Act, the Federal Reserve Board is required to consider the effects of proposed mergers and acquisitions involving bank holding companies. These public meetings  address the financial and managerial resources and future prospects of the companies and banks involved in the proposal, competition in the relevant markets, and the convenience and needs of the communities to be served.
