Federal Reserve Board announces approval of application by Hancock Whitney Corporation

The Federal Reserve Board on Thursday announced its approval of the application under section 3 of the Bank Holding Company Act of 1956 by Hancock Whitney Corporation, Gulfport, Mississippi, to merge with MidSouth Bancorp, Inc. and indirectly acquire MidSouth's national bank subsidiary, MidSouth Bank, N.A., both of Lafayette, Louisiana.
