Federal Reserve Board announces approval of application by Merchants & Farmers Bancshares, Inc.

The Federal Reserve Board on Monday, June 15, approved the application under section 3 of the Bank Holding Company Act by Merchants & Farmers Bancshares, Inc., to acquire Vernon Bancshares, Inc., and thereby indirectly acquire The Vernon Bank, all of Leesville, Louisiana.
