Federal Reserve Board announces approval of applications by Royal Bank of Canada and RBC USA Holdco Corporation

The Federal Reserve Board on Wednesday announced its approval of the applications under section 3 of the Bank Holding Company Act by Royal Bank of Canada, Montreal, Canada, and RBC USA Holdco Corporation, New York, New York, to acquire City National Corporation and thereby indirectly acquire its wholly owned subsidiary, City National Bank, both of Los Angeles, California.
