Data Description:
Interest and fee income on all loans (not secured primarily by real estate) to individuals for medical expenses, personal taxes, vacations, consolidation of personal (nonbusiness) debts, and for the purchase of private automobiles, household appliances, furniture, mobile homes, trailers, boats, etc. Also includes all loans not secured primarily by real estate for the purpose of purchasing real estate that will be used as a residence of the borrower's family.
COMPARABILITY:
Beginning 3/31/01, the derivation for derived item 4013 was changed from items 4054 and 4055 to (B485) "Credit Cards" and (B486) "Other". Applicable to the FFIEC 031 and 041 reports.
Reported as a derived item for the FFIEC 031 and 032 reports which includes the sum of items 4054 and 4055.
Prior to 3/31/84, this item was reported by national and nonmember banks only, and item name was "Interest and Fees on Loans to Individuals, for Household, Family, and Other Personal Expenditures".
