Data Description:
Includes the interest income earned on assets that are included in "Trading Assets (3545)". Also includes accretion of discount on assets held in trading accounts that have been issued on a discount basis, such as U.S. Treasury bills and commercial paper.
Excludes trading gains and losses and fees from assets held in trading accounts (reported in item A220).
COMPARABILITY:
Beginning 3/31/01, for the series "BHCK" report the interest income earned on assets reportable in Schedule HC, item 5, "Trading assets."
Include accretion of discount on assets held in trading accounts that have been issued on a discount basis, such as U.S. Treasury bills and commercial paper.
Exclude trading gains and losses and fees from assets held in trading accounts (report in item 5(c)).
NOTE:
