Data Description:
Recoveries of amounts previously reported as charge-offs on securities, provided there is no valuation reserve for security losses; if such a valuation reserve exists, recoveries of losses on securities previously charged to the reserve is credited back to the reserve and reported in the section, "Valuation Reserves on Securities" but not against this item. (Recoveries of losses not previously charged to reserves are credited directly to undivided profits and reported against this item.) If no valuation reserve exists, the amount reported against this item includes premiums and other charge-offs recovered through sale of securities during current period.
Does not include amortized premium recovered through sale of securities.
