Data Description:
Report this line as a positive amount since it will be deducted from equity capital in calculating tangible capital.
Includes all purchased loan servicing included in item 0468 minus the lesser of:
1. Ninety percent of current fair value of all qualifying purchased mortgage servicing;
2. Ninety percent of original cost of all qualifying purchased mortgage servicing; or
3. The amortized book value of all qualifying purchased mortgage servicing.
Only mortgage loan servicing is excluded according to the above criteria; all nonmortgage loan servicing, such as credit card servicing, mobile home servicing, etc., must be reported on this line in full as a reduction of tangible capital.
Those thrift institutions that are not required to file Schedule CSC will substitute item 0505 for item 0468 above.
