Data Description:
For the first tier service corporations, include the docket number of the parent thrift. For entities in the second tier or below, report the taxpayer identification number (EIN) of the immediate parent of the service corporation, subsidiary or joint venture in the tier structure of the parent thrift. For entities in the second tier or below, the taxpayer ID number entered here will also appear as a taxpayer ID number in item 6191.
If a service corporation is owned by two or more parents in the tier structure of the parent thrift, report the taxpayer ID number of the parent with the largest percent ownership. If two or more parents in the tier structure of the parent thrift have the same percent ownership, choose one and report the taxpayer ID number of the parent chosen.
