For "BORA" title is "Eligible Credit Outstanding" and includes total credit outstanding collateralized by direct obligations of the U.S. or by notes, drafts, bills of exchange, or acceptances as are eligible for rediscount or purchase under the provisions of Section 13 of the Federal Reserve Act.
Because of legislation signed by President Clinton on December 7, 1999 that allows the use of all loans to depository institutions as collateral for Federal Reserve Notes, this item will no longer be used by Board staff. Reserve Bank staff should make no changes relative to this item.
