Data Description:

Includes all claims on banks, including the reporting institution's holdings of acceptances of foreign banks, and all claims on foreign branches of other U.S. banks. The amounts reported for each country should be based on the location of the office on which the respondent has the direct claim, not on the location of that bank's head office. Excludes claims on U.S. branches of foreign banks.
