Includes the code representing the rate index to which the largest percentage of adjustable-rate commercial loan balances are tied. For example, if 60 percent of the institution's commercial loan balances were indexed to the prime rate and the remaining 40 percent were indexed to the 1-year Treasury rate, the code for the prime rate, would be reported here.
