Data Description:

Includes the outstanding principal balance of all complex securities, including structured securities, (both terms are defined in footnote 1, page 204. Report all zero-coupon securities (callable and noncallable) that meet the criteria for this line, using the recorded investment instead of the outstanding balance. Does not include mortgage derivative securities.

If a non-zero balance is reported in this line item, the reporting savings associatiom must also report its estimates of the market value of these securities in item numbers A143 and A149.
