Data Description:
FFIEC009 (FCEX) - In Column 13 through 16 of Schedule C, Part II report claims included in Columns 1 through 10 of Schedule C, Part II for which the obligor provided collateral that did not meet the definition of collateral for the risk-transfers of claims (See Section II.F). See Section V.C Examples for Schedule C, Parts I and II.
In Column 15, report collateral held where the country of the ultimate obligor (i.e., the issuer of the collateral or holder of the cash) is the same as the country of the immediate counterparty. Also include in this column collateral provided as part of a resale or securities lending agreement where the country of issuer of the collateral is the same as the country of the counterparty to the agreement. If multiple securities are provided as collateral, only include in Column 15 the amount attributable to the same country.
FFIEC009a (CEXA) - Columns 15 through 18 below are to be reported based on the location of the counterparty and are not mutually-exclusive. In Column 17, report for each country the amounts included in Column 15 where the holder of the cash collateral or the issuer of the securities provided for collateral are in the same country as the counterparty to the transaction. This amount is included on the FFIEC 009 report on Schedule C (Part II), Column 15.
